Power Tools 101, 24 March

  • Hands-On Halifax 6070 Almon Street, Unit 109 Halifax, NS, B3K Canada (map)

If you have never held a saw or a drill before (except maybe in junior high woodshop!), this class is for you. The aim of this class is to build your confidence so that you can try a cut with each saw. We will go through basic woodshop safety, the basics of measuring and cutting, and learn how to use the most common tools you need for woodworking:

Compound mitre saw
Drill and drill press

Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes, tie back long hair and leave all jewelry at home. We provide safety glasses and ear protection but you may also bring your own if you prefer. You do not need to be a member to attend this class.

$30 (taxes in) payable by etransfer, Visa, Mastercard or AmEx.
